paulpluskwik 0 Posted April 30, 2009 Dale, Enjoyed your Mallard duck landing photo, I also liked reviewing your duck photos in your porfolio. I also enjoy taking wildlife photography and have been out at lakes and ponds this spring looking for photos. Take care. Link to comment

balosie 0 Posted May 2, 2009 Dale, I like the timing on this. The instant before any water was disturbed. Nice work! Link to comment
rogerleekam 0 Posted May 2, 2009 Dale, nice action shot. That looks like ice that he's landing on. Link to comment
andrea allison 0 Posted May 3, 2009 This is great Dale! The water is so calm and you caught the duck just before he broke the water, does look like it could be ice. You must be so happy to be out in our nice weather lately. I am very envious right now. But I'm taking a trip to New York at the end of the month to visit my daughter, very excited about that. Have to decide how much photography equipment I'm going to take LOL... This will be my first trip there so there is lots she wants to show me. ... Love your shot of the mallard ... Link to comment
vancouverphotographer 1 Posted May 4, 2009 Hey Andrea and Senol, thank you both very much :) @ Andrea, after a miserable winter, been shooting like crazy and non-stop - lucked out with some good weather at Reifel .... lucked out with a nice weekend of shooting this week as well - checked out the tulips in Agassiz for the first time. Good luck in New York - I couldn't decide what gear to bring today for the tulips, never mind New York if I were to go LOL .... I guess 3 basic lenses are a must, a telephoto, for sure a zoom capable of wider angles and a faster aperture lens for those low light situations. Link to comment
