Thank you. I'd love to see New Orleans and its festival. As a matter of fact, I love Jazz and visiting the States is part of my wife and I's plans. I'd love to see the South and have a few musical stops there. It would be great to meet you and your family, Linda! Do you go to festivals just to enjoy the show and take a few shots for fun or is it part of a day job? There are a lot of pictures of festivals in your portfolio.

Laurent, here in Louisiana, there is a festival somewhere just about every weekend. i really enjoy the people watching and photo opportunities. for my day job, i work as a graphic designer and editor for a quarterly thoroughbred racing and breeding publication. although i only actually get to the racetrack a few times a year, it is another colorful and exciting place to shoot. i find the jockeys especially fascinating. i do hope that you and your wife and boys make it over for a visit some day!

You mentioned in one of your comments to my photo the scale. Focusing on it this particular photo is a prime example of your scale, the intimate close range shooting being your forte, trademark, something I have admired and cherished since I discovered your portfolio.

Here I love the muted color of the textile (parasol?) against the fresh and vital green, like the nature were digesting and getting nourished by the fallen waterdrops. You keep it simple and to the point. Bravo!

Linda, so you're into horses. I do agree with you about photographing horses. I went there recently and made a few shots. The colors ! Thanks again for your invitation. It would be great to meet there!!!

Laurent, so nice hearing from you ! Where have you been ? I hope everything's fine for you and family. I'm impatient to see your new pictures.

Markku, what can I say? Thanks a million for the compliment. Coming from you, I value such words immensely. I'm flattered.

P.S.: To the three of you, please forgive my late answer.
