sky blue 0 Posted May 2, 2009 Tammy, It would have surprised me awhile back but I think the blk & wht is my favorite. I love color so much but you gave me an appreciation for blk & wht way back when. This shot pulls my attention to your model and allows me to focus on her. I like the technicolor shots as well - that's the color I grew up with when blk & wht was pushed to the side and we all embraced that far from Blu-Ray color. I like the pose and expression, too. ~Sky Link to comment
tammysphotos 0 Posted May 3, 2009 This is one of my favorites, too, Sky. My first love is blk & white but I'm trying to branch out...try new things. Link to comment
david shelby 0 Posted May 6, 2009 Love B&W images! This is a excellent example of how it should be done. Great composition by_the_way. Best wishes from D.S.C. Link to comment
John Peri 1,038 Posted May 13, 2009 What is it in a subject's face that makes the expression, the slightest variations in those traits that convey such strong messages to us. Sure it's a nice photo, a very good one in fact .. but here we differ possibly. I would have egoistically placed myself in the context by solliciting her gaze . It would tell me what the intimacy of the surroundings and our isolation would have evoked from her in reaction. Love this work Tammy .. loved the kids too .. but I'm really anxious to see where you go from here. Hmm .. this is all about photography not the models, but something tells me that we like the same type of subjects .. :-) Link to comment
tammysphotos 0 Posted May 20, 2009 I have to say, John, working with this model was more way more fun for me than with any of the children I've photographed. I was totally out of my element and I loved every minute of it! Link to comment
