Purple Dawn

I took this photo just before dawn when on a clear day the sky turns

from blue to purple then orange. The foreground comprises yellow

sandstone on top of a shelf of pink harder rock.

nice colour and light tones, matched with a fantastic perspective. although an all too common photograph, it still takes skill and creativity to present a surreal shot like this. I admire it and so rate it with , well done Brendan

Nice tonality and a great dreamy feel . The fissures in the rock platform and the light catching off it really make it for me though!

Fergus, the shot was taken on the northern beaches, keen to get over to the Eastern Suburbs some day, expect there would be some nice locations there too. What makes this place so special is the large rock shelf that creates some interesting effects especially at low tide.
