obi-wan-yj 0 Posted April 29, 2009 My two-year-old son walking a wall on the playground. In order toexpand my horizons a bit, the only lens I took with me that eveningwas my 1969 Asahi/Pentax Super-Takumar 135mm f/3.5 (manual focus &aperture). It's not the easiest way to photograph nine active kids, but it does force you to visualize shots and plan ahead so you canalready have the focus & exposure set properly when the decisivemoment occurs. This shot looks darker on my home monitor than it does at work, especially on the right & bottom. I'm not sure which monitor is moreaccurate. I prefer the darker look, as it adds more of a mood. I'dappreciate any comments or suggestions you may have. Link to comment

obi-wan-yj 0 Posted May 1, 2009 Thanks for the compliment. It's not film, actually. It's a 40-year-old lens adapted to fit on my digital SLR body. Film is too expensive for me to use it seriously, and applying creative effects in a darkroom is *far* too time consuming for my schedule. Link to comment
