Here in the city we have a deer population problem.

One afternoon having lunch with my colleagues and their wives, we came across some protestors at the mayors office. The city wants to conduct a hunt of the deer and process the meat to feed the homeless. Some residents don't want the deer shot.

As we were walking by I shouted "yea a deer problem, when the city cures this, what happens if they think we have too many stray cats and dogs". "Are we going to hunt them down and feed them to the less fortunate"? Everyone in the crowd turned around to look at me, a couple yelled, "yea, he's right"!

Then I shouted, "The deer were here before us, what are we doing, eliminating them like we did to the Native Americans" This whipped the crowd into a frenzy.

We walked away and I explained to my party, people are sheepole, they are looking for a leader and they are not too picky these days.

Hi, Tony!

Nice story, very educative!

I heard a story once that somebody slaughtered the deers in our ZOO by night and dropped their bodies in front of the lions cage! That inspired me to do this picture!

Cheers!
