mark_q 0 Posted April 18, 2009 I do detect great care in composing and framing this scene most of "them" wouldn't care about. The greenish cast under the van bothers me a little, but then again your color scheme gives uniformity. Obviously it takes a dedicated keen eye to discover this kind of gem: oh that red diagonal bottom left, as well other red details spread here and there. Do you hear me applauding wildly here? EDIT: you should see what I have been "coning" lately... ;-) Link to comment
laurentlacoste 0 Posted April 18, 2009 Markku, thanks. I'm glad you like that 3 year-old picture, which was part of the series I did in September and October 2006. I had the idea of reposting four of those old cone pictures in the same single folder here a few weeks ago after commenting on Kent's picture "Double Murder". I was wondering about the origins of our cone pictures. I remembered Kent's and Lars Brorson Finch's postings as well as mine here before Jack started to shoot poles too. We may have shot poles prior to him, but Jack certainly beat us all on quantity! Thanks about noticing the green cast. I probably had a tendency to overdo post-processing then, and didn't have a monitor as reliable as now. I'll pay you a visit soon to see what you've been "coning" lately. Always a pleasure discovering your new posts, Markku. Link to comment
