Pierre Dumas 302 Posted April 16, 2009 I was motivated to delete some of my lower rated pictures, but I didn't want to remove them permanently together with the comments of my dear colleagues, so here they are: Critiques Lauren M. - North Shore, MA [subscriber] , March 12, 2007; 11:35 P.M. Thanks. You mean it is in fact coming? Thanks for the hopeful preview! Torfinn Johannessen [subscriber] , March 13, 2007; 07:09 A.M. Excellent exposure. Best regards, Torfinn. Ken Boxsell , March 13, 2007; 07:58 A.M. Sharp. Very nice. IMO i might have cropped a little tighter but its still great to see spring (another 6 months for me) Joseph Tury [subscriber] [Frequent poster] , March 13, 2007; 10:07 A.M. Very crisp! I can almost smell spring. Pierre Dumas [Frequent poster] , March 13, 2007; 10:44 A.M. (edit | delete) Thank you for your visit my friends! How's that it's coming Lauren - it came my place! Torfinn, I'm very much flattered by your comment and even more by your double of the big ones. When it comes from a specialist in the nature photography it is an honor! Ken, it is sharp, yes! I don't accept close ups which are not razor sharp. About the cropping - this isn't just a close up, as a matter of fact. More moody picture and without all elements it wouldn't have been that! Thank you all again! Cheers! Pierre Dumas [Frequent poster] , March 13, 2007; 10:52 A.M. (edit | delete) Hey Joseph, we have commented in the same time! Thank you for coming my friend! If you can smell it - that means success of the moody concept I mentioned above! Cheers to that! PDE Ruud Albers [subscriber] [Frequent poster] , March 13, 2007; 02:33 P.M. Really beautiful work, Pierre! Best regards, Ruud. Rakesh Syal [Frequent poster] [Current POW Recipient] , March 14, 2007; 02:53 A.M. BRILLIANT!! What a brilliant spring time bloom and capture!! Best regards! Pierre Dumas [Frequent poster] , March 15, 2007; 06:11 A.M. (edit | delete) Rakesh, thank you! Your good opinion is worth much more since I saw your wonderful still life photographs, ha! Cheers! Jack McRitchie [subscriber] [Frequent poster] [Current POW Recipient] , March 22, 2007; 07:09 A.M. You are a constant source of wonder, pulling images out of your top hat like a magician. You never know what's coming next. So the madman is also a romantic, huh? Pierre Dumas [Frequent poster] , March 22, 2007; 07:35 A.M. (edit | delete) Jack my friend, how did you find out I was mad for God sake! I thought it wasn't noticeable?! Ha, of course I'm mad my friend and I'm proud with it! One of the doctors in the madhouse once said to me: "No, no, you're not mad - you are quite normal..." and I said: "Doc, you are insulting me! Of course I'm mad, but not a fool!", ha, ha, ha! And that's true! Romantic I am first of all! But you see Jack, when you happen to live in a country run by criminals, whores and imbeciles, you must react to that matter in some way! That's why my works are bitter, dark, weird...call it whatever, they express my consideration about the matters, my people, my land! Thanks Jack, nice chatting with you, come again and be my friend! PDE Ronda Sliter , May 19, 2008; 03:03 P.M. This is very pretty, sharp and clear. Pierre Dumas [Frequent poster] , May 19, 2008; 03:11 P.M. (edit | delete) Welcome Ronda and thank you for your visit! I was thinking on this experience of mine in my comment on your picture! And another one when there was more wind! Thank you again! PDE Buba Mara , January 17, 2009; 05:45 P.M. Divno! Mmmm ... proleće! :)) Link to comment
