juliusgwyer 0 Posted December 5, 2002 Good shot. It reminds me of this photograph of Chet Baker. Link to comment
matt_sanders 0 Posted December 9, 2002 The hinge I guess was to the right so it didn't come into the frame. Link to comment
root 0 Posted December 9, 2002 . . . . what's commonly called a piano hinge . . . a continuous horizontal line that should cut the reflection in half. Link to comment
matt_sanders 0 Posted December 9, 2002 Nope, it was a single piece wood top, I didn't see any hinge. Link to comment
nelson cotrim 0 Posted December 9, 2002 How did you avoid the lid hinge? If I´m not mistaken, the hinge is there, but the camera was so low that there´s almost no reflexion on the other side of the hinge. Nice picture, I like the lines. The column on the right, the arc and the column on the left, crossed by the piano. I just think the highlight reflected on the piano a bit distracting, not so much the lamp behind the arc, just the reflexion. Link to comment
ls 0 Posted December 10, 2002 It would look even better if your friend wore something more formal to add to the elegance and discreteness of this photograph. Link to comment
