shenandoah 0 Posted April 25, 2009 From the sweetheart city with love! Loveland Colorado has a passion for the arts. In 1985, Loveland was the first city in Colorado to adopt an Art in Public Places ordinance. Presently, there are 307 individual pieces of artwork within the collection. Numerous additional artworks are privately owned but viewable by the public. The city’s public art reflects the work of more than 200 artists. Most of the Loveland Art In Public Places program's artwork is bronze sculpture, indicative of the large community of sculptors and foundries that call Loveland home. But the collection also contains a wide variety of other art types and media, including oil paintings, watercolors, pastels, chalk, photography and more. So I wanted to share some of my faveorite pieces. Loveland is an art lovers dream.... Thanks for looking...;-) Link to comment
andrea-de-bonis 6 Posted April 25, 2009 i think this is a perfect photo to be converted in bw. the bw let you give your interpretation to the sculpture, in colours is as a documentary. i am sure this photo can become something very evocative, if you give us a key to imagine... my opinion, of course, the composition is perfect, shows very well the subject Link to comment
ifti 1 Posted April 26, 2009 Good subject. Too bright and bland sky is distracting. The 'wings" are too soft. IMHO needs to taken in diffuse light falling on it. Camera tilt needs correction. Link to comment
