La Garita del Diablo

Castillo de San Cristobal, a Fortress built to guard the island of Puerto

Rico, suffered architectural damage due to several battles over the

centuries. This one Sentry Box, better known as 'La Guerita Del Diablo'

survived and stands today....dating back to it's original construction in

1634. The photographer in you will certainly enjoy exploring this fascinating

fortress, if ever the opportunity presents itself to visit Old San Juan. Your

why so many frames??

I think you found 'her' and she is on my 'personal info page'....apparently, way back...way back...even though my grandparents on both sides were of Scottish and English descent......way back.....my brother was investigating our 'family tree' and I am a descendant of 'Italian Pirates'....HA!!!! Go figure....perhaps that is why I love to cook......(watercress salad, stuffed portobello mushrooms, stuffed roasted garlic peppers with a mix of a fine pasta, cheeses, croutons, chateau briand, roasted whole tomatoes(with various surprises within).....a fine bottle of vino.....stawberries and fresh cream for dessert......and I take my time eating...) also....'searching for buried treasure since a young child has rendered most yards 'hazardous'...so I plant flowers to fill in the holes!!!!.......just kidding.....but I do also, on a clear warm spring/summer nightI ,love gardening when there is a full moon....it's quiet, a sky full of stars, NO BUGS! ....just something very magical about it....besides I know my shrubs and plants so well, I can prune ..by touch.....so there you go 'matey!!!arrrrggghhhh!!!!.....I'm an odd one to be sure!!!)

Very sorry, I have no defence.......'blame it on a 'Menopausal Moment' and grieving for my 'sweet babe girl'...my Bichon who left this earthly plane 2 years ago April 6h-7th(there is a day added in there re Feb.'s)....but I have not been myself since I lost her, and these last few days, being the Anniversary of her death....I have to admit...much of my editing has been through tears....a head full of memories...I apologise if the image offends you.....I'll try another one soon.
