Pnina, this reminds me of an insect larva in a coccoon, about to break out. The light has a sunrise or early morning tinge. An impression of birth and renewing of life.

Powerful and filled with emotion.....the thing is, like so much of your other work, you leave the viewer to extract their own feelings and meanings from your work. I love the way you use this veil or scrim in much of your work. Very effective, and a beautifully crafted photo! Hope you are doing well!

... the balance and poise of the dancer captured by you, with the balance and poise of the photograph. The light in the distance is the perfect counter balance to the dancer's position and attitude. Cover that light and the photo is diminished considerably. Leave it to Pnina to see and recognize this. Seeing that this image has been cropped makes it such a wonderful choice.
