Captured, trying to get out , struggling for freedom. A strong posture character. Good light & well captured.

Great picture. I like the mood and the composition is top notch. One other thing it works great for me it's the movement on her hands. Although bery subtle it does the trick.

Best regards,

Alex

Drew, thanks for such a nice feedback, I think that many of us are trying to do our best, and more knowledge is accumulating with time and experience.

Jack, as usual you have well understood and worded your impressions, thanks for that.

Les, thanks for your visit and your nice feedback, I appreciate it. I didn't think of erotic though, but it is an interesting point.

Cherlyn and Paolo, thanks for your nice comments

Gunnar, I'm glad you like the series, as it is still a dance in formation, and there will be more. It is a choreography that I connect strongly too

Senol and Alberto, thanks both of you as well

Alex, thanks for seeing the hands form, they have a role in the dance and will be present in the next frames as well.

David, thanks for your nice feedback!

I like this a lot Pnina, the clarity of the subject and the curtain/veil photographically. On my reading of this image I read the symbolism of the dancer either celebrating or perhaps resisting it what is around her. The light in the corner nicely balances the posture and gives a fine counter-point and added meaning to either the celebration or the reaching out.

She seems in communion with the light around her. The lit pole behind seems almost like an altar. Exquisite.

Art inside art Pnina! The pose, the lighting, the textures of the web are fascinating. You convey an atmosphere that attracts and charms...a masterpiece. Kind regards, Luis

One has to love the placement of the subject within the frame. Perfect position to allow the hands & arms to form a diagonal line pointing to the light source. I like the warm colour cast here as well. I tried 'correcting' it in PS; didn't work! I also like the fact that you are not hung up on the original frame format, cropping out (I suspect) that which was unnecessary to the photo. Always interesting to view your latest. Best, LM

Mike, thanks for your nice impression and interpretation, it is interesting to know how a photo is " read" by each viewer.

Jeff thanks, the light on the upper R side is important, altar is an interesting word.

Kaushik, Pierre , Luis, and Federico , I really appreciate your nice feedback.

Len, you are right, I work on the composition, when I photograph dancers on stage,( especially on this stage ) there are many things that can interfere, and I have no possibility to change. I do have it while post processing....;-)) and giving it my commentary. Thanks for your impression and thoughts.

Pnina, The image reminded me of a verse in the bible." Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the LORD." Shalom dearest friend.

Pnina, this is a visual sensation...there is so much to see and enjoy in this image. I really like the interplay between the highlights and shadows...lovely model/dancer, even under the guazy wrap you can see see her toned figure. Wonderfully composed...I think this is one of your best. Regards. Jeff.

A classic composition full of beauty despite its confining theme. You are so right to state that this can be a metaphor that applies to someone's lifetime. Just like the delicate nature of the "trapping", the vehicles of confinement does not have to be as harsh as locks and keys. Sometimes we are held prisoners by ourselves and the web that entraps us is created by our minds.

Jeff, Thanks very much for your impression, well expressed . I appreciate it and your taking the time.

Adan, first I'm glad to see you , and read your such right evaluation. We are most of the time our own entraps...and we fight to liberate ourselves.

I hope you are well
