ajsanford 0 Posted April 6, 2009 Taken at one of my favorite parks. The late afternoon light was a little harsh, so I lowered the contrast to give it a softer look to go with the mood portrayed. My daughter was unaware I took the shot. Link to comment
WJT 653 Posted April 6, 2009 Amanda, I like this a lot and, technically, I can't see any faults with it but for some reason I barely noticed your daughter. I think it might be because of the lack of headroom that you have given her. Any chance to crop this a little looser? If not it would be worth a reshoot; the composition is intriguing. Regards. ajsanford 0 Posted April 6, 2009 I wasn't sure which category to put this in because I was actually shooting the stairs, which I happen to love. I liked the shot though, so I kept her in it. There was some distracting shrubbery behind her, so that's one reason I cropped it a little close. Thank you for your comment! Link to comment
sunny lee 0 Posted April 8, 2009 I agree with Walter about your daughter. The first thing I thought when I looked at your photo was: "Where is that daughter she is talking about?". Maybe when you converted from color to B/W you could emphasize her somehow. That is my opinion. Otherwise excellent geometry. Regards! Link to comment
