Hey Gareth,

Gotta tell you, I really like this one! It looks like an old plane remembering how it used to fly, or something like that. Nice printing too!

Thanks Joey. It's a plane that crashed in 2001 at a light aircraft festival on Barra. The airport is unique in that it uses a beach as it's runway. I should have maybe tried to get some good shots of the beach with the terminal building in the background but I got kinda of stuck on this slightly damaged aircraft. When I scanned the print (on my cheap and nasty flatbed) I used photoshop to try and make it look like it does on the paper. I think I might take to this warmtone stuff.

I agree Gareth--I've been experimenting with MGW in selenium a lot lately, and it's quickly becoming a favorite.

Yup, it's a got a totally different look and feel to it. I've got some sepia and copper toner to try with it too, when I find some time. Lord knows when though.

This is easily my favorite shot of yours - but, of course, i'm quite partial to good airplane shots :) Great printing and toning, really pretty shot

Hello Lisa, it's probably grainy as I burned it in at a high grade. Also the cheap flatbed I was using at the time to scan my prints exaggerates grain. This plane cashed at the airport in 2001. As far as I know it's the only commercial beach airport in the world. Thanks for your comment.
