mike_sikora 0 Posted December 4, 2002 I'm a serious newbie to photography. Had my D100 for about 3 weeks now. Would love any feedback I can get to help me improve. The local rinks do not have the best light in the world..so any tips on low light, fast action shooting would be appreciated. Thanks, Mike Link to comment
KenPapai 37 Posted December 5, 2002 The exposure is too dark and the action not that interesting in this shot. Good luck with your nice camera! Indoor sports action shots are tough when the lighting is poor. Link to comment
gil_batzri 0 Posted January 27, 2003 Your camera should have a white balance setting That might help you lose the color cast here. Plus, it could be a little lighter (Levels in Photoshop) Try to get the puck in frame, it makes a better shot, and you might crop to the players some more as well. As far as the low light, you can spend more and get a larger aperture lens...Is you camera AF able to pickup the action enough for you to shoot when you want? That is a problem with the Canon "prosumer" line (D30, D60). It looks pretty good though. Link to comment
