thadley 15 Posted April 20, 2009 Excellent - not much more to add that has not already been said. Emmanuel: I think I remember the mercury poisoning images that Smith took. Link to comment
laurentlacoste 0 Posted April 24, 2009 This is extraordinary, Jeff. I must say that I like the way you reshuffled your portfolio to present us with those images. They all look very consistent together. I remember you asking me if I had already read "The River". What you have here is a striking image. Some B&W Gauguin the Jeff Long's style. Link to comment
ingermargrete 0 Posted April 28, 2009 Great work again:) I really like the light and tones, it creates a kind of dramatic feeling for me regarding the image. Link to comment
pascalagneray 0 Posted May 14, 2009 This is one of your more compeling picture Jeff. It looks like a wild local about to spear a fish or pursuing your boat. (I am willingly off my computer at home since months now but I am sneaking a little peak from work) Link to comment
laurent_jaussi 0 Posted June 1, 2009 the treatement has transformed the image into someting totally open...from a pool cleaner to a fish hunter in Amazonia...for me this image illustrate wonderfully that a photograph can have totally different facet depending on angle, treatement, BW vs color, etc, etc...and that the toolbox of the artist is inifinite....a superb image...I also like the act of magnifying simple act and people...we have too much of jetset people in the news anyway.... deniselanterman 0 Posted August 6, 2009 Hi Jeff, as always your image is inspired and inspires such thoughtful comments. More special given your explanation of what the man is doing. You've taken something ordinary and elevated it to thought provoking. Great work . Cheers. Denise Link to comment
hansdans 0 Posted January 24, 2010 Pontius Pilate declared himself innocent of the blood of Jesus by washing his hands...-so the associative path from the name..took some fun away having looked first only the photo and not the name.. Still very exciting and impressive photo. BR Hannu Link to comment
