lonebearimages 0 Posted April 5, 2009 No, I think it means that a lot of people have never shot in the Alabama Hills on a cold, cloudy day. These things happen. You have done a great job here. Yeah, I might have pulled back a skosh to give a little space between the you and the granite and then the Sierras in the background; but that's just me, it is not right, it is not wrong. Keep on shooting. I have photographed the Alabama Hills a lot, and I'm not sure that I've gotten it right yet. Cheers! Chris Link to comment

I have no idea what it looked like on that day and whether this comes close to what you saw or this is the pre-conceived (or not) vision for this image. Strictly for my personal tastes, I have done some dodging and burning for your consideration that I did fairly quickly and like Chris says - there is no wrong or right. Link to comment
