Saadsalem 74 Posted April 3, 2009 this shot is from those shots that you do not matter about the camera or the anything else that is related to photography, you just care about the subject and the message that it convey, you care about the feeling you have at seeing, and start imagining how this word is spinning, and for your surprise, you will discover only sometimes that it spines in the wrong direction, when you realizes the real facts about it, a very great shot, with great emotive power, indeed at its extreme,6/7,with regards. drickert 0 Posted April 4, 2009 Thank you both for your comments. It really touched me at the time. This entire grave yard seemed to have been forgotten, but the old stuffed bear really hit me, as it was obviously left for a child. Link to comment
jrickert 2 Posted October 13, 2009 I like this sensitive photo. B&W is perfect for it. Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted November 25, 2009 Doug... A poignant image that touches all of us, especially as parents. I can think of nothing more debilitating than having to bury a child and this shot expresses that well... Mike Link to comment
drickert 0 Posted November 26, 2009 You are so right. I can't even imagine how devastating that would be. Seeing this left me feeling empty and lonely and I just had to try to capture that. Most of the graveyard I found this in was neglected and forgotten. Link to comment

thistleandthat 1 Posted December 8, 2009 i think your shot definitely captures the somber mood in which you experienced this find. i always get a bit of a heart tug when i find children's graves in cemeteries. here's one i shot: http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=9734552 MKN Link to comment
