jmlangford 0 Posted November 30, 2002 Is there anything I could have done to improve the composition on this shot or is it okay as it is? Link to comment
lmcinnis37 0 Posted November 30, 2002 You have a good diagonal and rich saturation which give strong separation between the vertical face and the sky. The entry lead-in rope takes the eye directly to the backlit subject with subtlety but strength. The backlighting is the keynote along with the element of peril. All elements combine to make this a simple but compelling presentation. Superb. Have you done this in monochrome as well? I think it would be equally impressive in that medium, also. Link to comment
Timo Hartikainen 556 Posted November 30, 2002 Very good..this would be nice for a magazine cover... Link to comment
stuart_littlefair 0 Posted December 3, 2002 i like this. what makes it work is that the rope is backlit all the way down, which makes it stand out against the rock. A cut above other abseil silhouettes - well seen! Link to comment
michelle_osborn1 0 Posted December 4, 2002 Composition is fantastic...the upload appears of very low quality, and takes away from what might be a very sharp image. JPEG compression appears to have been very heavy. This is a unique perspective and an interesting shot. Link to comment
