I tend to agree the central position lacks some dynamic in the composition (in this case, the model being in an assymetric position). ... piet

Emanuele,

Pretty model - nice shape - good saturated background - Good example of split lighting (with this lighting you have to be careful of what happens to her nose - notice the strange effect of equal lighting coming from both sides) - good positioning of arms, but if her left hand was turned so that the edge of it was facing the camera you would have a more slimming and feminine look to it - I like the halo effect you have with her hair (it really separates it from the background and frames her face) - her eyes closed really gives it a nice mood

It is cropped too tightly on top - she needs some head room - Seeing as how she is facing the camera there is nothing wrong with centering her - I question why you have her in a horizontal rather that vertical frame? I see no good reason to shoot her horizontally. There is nothing really wrong with it - square would work fine, also, but vertical is more traditional and quite acceptable.

A very good sensual portriat. I agree that the cropping should not be at the centre and I would give some more space from the top edge to the head. Otherwise it's an outstanding image. Well done.
