funcrunch 0 Posted March 28, 2009 This fortuitous self-portrait has gotten some attention on Flickr - wanted to post it here for additional feedback, thanks! Link to comment
ali_joker 0 Posted March 28, 2009 I think everything's good except the expression on your face. it doesn't seem to match. and hmmm... the model's hot ;) Link to comment
gsphotoguy 3 Posted March 28, 2009 I like the image and feel the expression does compliment the pose and framing. There is a terrific anticipation of what is coming. I hope it is good things and more great photographs. Link to comment
starvy 7 Posted March 30, 2009 as far as self portraits go, i don't think i have seen anything sexier! this is suggestive, evocative and full of lust, i assume you wanted to capture all those qualities? the exposure is good, the light is moody although i would say that the darkness around your hair is a little distracting. jerrymat 5 Posted March 31, 2009 I like the implied story of the picture - it suggests waiting for a lover or something similar. The light coming through the blinds especially gives the body & clothing a kind of texture lighting that works in a sensual-tactile way. What bothers me is the composition. Keeping the figure to one side is good, but cramming the head into the top margin to the point where the top of the head is cut off is not. The face and it's expression are extremely important here and having the eyes so high makes them lose the emotional importance that they should be carrying. Link to comment
raymondborg 0 Posted October 30, 2010 You have made a very good use of lighting here. Perfect exposure and texture. What bothers me is the top of the head cropped off and the wooden table and chair in the background which could be easilly removed. Otherwise, a very good self portrait. Congrats. Link to comment
don_bryant2 0 Posted November 5, 2010 The shorts are short but the headlights get your attention! They are definitely on high beam. Link to comment
