"Location location location" - I snatched this shot while there was a fracas among the

finches at the feeder. This little guy was just waiting his turn.

I really like the way the background blur is separated just at the line of the perch, it makes you look twice, and it takes your image beyond the documentary. Beautiful detail and light, I notice the catch light in the birds eye.

Excellently done Sandra! amazing how some images turn out, your DOF has all the shades for the bird, who is very detailed and colorful, just lovely!

The common house finch, but he does have some pretty nice colors.

Fab 7/7 anon. I am back to expand on my comment. I love the colors and I like the fact that the perch splits the photo dead center (well almost) and the background is similarly set up.
