karolostrivizas 2 Posted March 27, 2009 Excellent artistic slice of life presentation Joseph and nice chromatic effect. Clarity, details and successful composition. Link to comment
rogerleekam 0 Posted March 27, 2009 Looks like you're having a lot of fun with selective coloring. I find these images attractive because of the contrasts inherent in them - the b&w against the strong and almost pure primary and secondary colors. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted March 28, 2009 As a graphic piece, this is fantastic. I like your use of color to push him out and distinguish him from his background. Link to comment
Donna Stavis 0 Posted March 30, 2009 He pops out like Dorothy in Oz-- Mr. Lonely Hearts -- his world b&w. Clever touch with the reflected telephone lines of communication and his isolation. The backdrop of doors -- interior vs. exterior -- good. I like this piece. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted March 30, 2009 This is a very nice melange of color and B/W.I like as well the details of his figure and the transparency peeping through the colorful doors. intresting as well is the color palette of the BG. My only small (not very important ! ) nit is his L hand nearly touching the frame...;-)) Nice work . Link to comment

skyjammer 0 Posted June 3, 2009 Long time, brother. Hope all's well. Love the color offseting going on here. The color isolates your B&W man in the pic. Great work as usual on your part. I'd blow this up and hang it. Awesome! Cheers, -Ade Link to comment
kirk d 0 Posted September 16, 2009 Excellent image and follow up treatment. You used black, white, primary colors of yellow and blue and the green in between that when mixed they make. However, there is no symbolic Valentine red like that omission is a continuation of the title and says he has no Valentine on Valentine being single. Interesting and well put together. joe-tury 0 Posted September 20, 2009 Thanks Kirk. We did the shoot on V-Day so it was kind of an inside joke title. Thanks for the visit! Link to comment
