Strawberries & Cream

ian cameron

Such glorious tranquil conditions yet a minute earlier a winter squall whisked through and the mountains were lost in a maelstrom of snow and hail. Now once again the sun finds its way through and the shallow loch settles down to mirror purity and is drenched in strawberry light. These transient conditions lasted but a minute or so then the light flickered and died.NEW!! Photographic Workshops and masterclasses at TRANSIENT LIGHT.

Torridon Scotland and strawberry light streaming in below low cloud just

following a winter squall. It lasted about a minute flickered and died.

For the record it matches my tranny.

Man, what a lucky catch, and very beautifully rendered. If I hadn't seen lighting like this (only once or twice), I might not believe it was real! Magnificent.

I think you have composed a very prominent shot. some may think it is luck to be there at the right place and the right time. I believe it is the fact that you knew your lesson perfectly well. it is some sort of second nature that put the photographer where he should be regarding the place and the time. other factors such as technique come into play then. the "strawberry" color cast is so amazing and esoteric. bravo.

Outstanding image, Ian! There is nothing to fault here! There is some flare on the left hand side, but I am sure it is considerably reduced in a print. Beautiful work!
