copcu 0 Posted March 27, 2009 just wanted to let you know , treated myself to 50 mm 1.2 today and a camera but won't go into that .... too impulsive sometimes and cannot resist new toys :) took some shots but nothing too pleasing to post here but loved the possibility of being able to take shots in light deprived areas with no camera shake. hate flashes ... never use them :))) i might need sometime to get use to it but i am very happy. thank you for your input and help on the matter my dear friend. elportebonheur 0 Posted March 27, 2009 You have taken a good decison and for sure you'll not be disappointed! Awaiting your first 50mm low light postings. Have fun! - To say 'good light' is not necessary any more with that glass...Regards, El Link to comment

katzpjs 50 Posted March 28, 2009 It appear that the collision of old world and new world may have been too much for this person. An interesting subject and a great title for the image. Link to comment
sgumbiner 3 Posted March 28, 2009 I love the contrast of the laundry hanging to dry and the high tech satellite dish. The person is hanging her head in woe? Over the laundry or the TV? There are many stories here. Great. S Link to comment
vetterhome1 0 Posted March 29, 2009 Great work to show dayly life in a great composition and well selected tones. Its all old like several .... ago, however the "satellite" makes it interesting, well seen.7/7. BR Joerg Link to comment

jkilgo 0 Posted April 2, 2009 A perfectly rendered B&W image...the tones and textures are perfect. Very nicely composed and nicely captured...this image really communicates a story...you can feel the sense of despair and poverty from your subject as she toils with the daily chores. A nice job capturing a moment in this anonymous individuals life...I can't help but hope for better days for her. Link to comment
