Please let me know you're thoughts. I'm especially interested in

hearing any constructive feedback on the photoshop manipulation to

de-emphasize the background (which, admittedly, I shouldn't have had

to do if I had taken the picture using a proper depth of field). See

welcome as well!

Love the low angle and the ear.I think if you edited out that tree branch it would be even better. Nice shot though.

I considered and even briefly tried editing out the tree branch, but I think it almost looks like he's missing an ear (even though the ear was never in the picture in the first place).

I think it's a great photo. That face is priceless! I feel like something is missing when you erase the tree branch (don't know why?). The only part of the background that I am having a problem with is the white building?
