Yellow

An excellent capture of one of my favorite insects, the friendly (and beneficial!) little hoverfly. I love your composition, and the yellow is striking! I often have trouble capturing the different tones when shooting yellow flowers, but you've done very well with this one! Great details.

Thanks for the kind words. I agree, yellows and reds of flowers are sometimes quite tricky to photograph but keeping an eye on the color histograms helps getting it right.
