This is a story about a girl named Laura. She was riding a train one

day and noticed she was all alone in the car... :)

that guy hiding underneath the seat on the right picture? Heh heh.. just teasing. I think all three photos together stand stronger than each one individually - and I definitely like the inclusion of your feet - without a sign of life, it would be like viewing a dead static train car picture - with the feet, I'm not alone in the train (though you might be)

Well conceived and executed Laura ............... I think the one on the left would be nice as a stand alone .................. Pursue this theme further but try wearing flippers and add some syncronized swimming pidgeons.......................... Oh, yes .... I have an upload ....................... (-;

Ken: LOL!

Thanks for the suggestion. The one on the far left would be cool as a its own shot. I think I'll try it out. Thanks for the suggestion. :)

I like this series very much. Although the idea of isolation is portrayed effectively, the colors and forms are up-beat and have a rather cheerful feeling. Much nicer to be alone in some circumstances. Maybe you will give me an updated view of NY's Chinatown some day.

This is a tough shot to comment on, this in spite of the fact that a shot such as this can tell a series of stories far better then a single shot. No, I've never been much on trichey-type images. Maybe it's a split personality thing.

On this example the center shot is good, but the right shot I feel is very strong...I'd like to see it stand alone.

...and as you can see I like stories...

I think that the centre shot isn't technically as good as the other two, but it does add to the story, i.e. that you were comfortable on the train by yourself.

Like others have said, the right and the left shots could stand alone.

the only thing i don't like, is how tightly croped they all are, although they would be equally tightly cropped if i shot them due to me not owning a very wideangle lense... but, thats the only critique i have. Your a good photographer, i like most all of your images.

the one on the right is MY favorite... ooow eeee SHINY :)
