michaellinder 16,612 Posted March 20, 2009 Indeed, this woman's being dressed in what I take to be traditional Indian clothing and sitting in front of the "Home of the Whopper" is an odd juxtaposition. But, the woman's appearance is far more interesting and significant. You've effectively captured her beautiful, rich skin tone. And the smile on her face not only is evidence of her happy nature. It also reflects her whimsy and sense of humor. She seems to be saying, "OK, go ahead and photograph me. I'll give you one of my special smiles." Outstanding work . . . amalsircar 2 Posted March 21, 2009 Pnina, I got the answer to my question in the earlier image.Chips and burgers are no longer western. These are universal favourites, especially with the young ones. But next time you meet her, please tell her not eat too much burgers & chips. Her size is an alarming indication for coronary heart disease . Here is something for you:-} Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted March 21, 2009 Anabela, thanks, I appreciate it. Michael, thanks for your nice evaluation, .I also think that she has a sense of humor.... Amal, she is Indian , yes, also a bit fat, but looks a nice warm human being never the less... Thanks for your comments and photo. The photo is very funny with a good timing. I know that the burgers are all over the world, but they have started in the west....;-)) Link to comment
armindo_lopes 1 Posted March 21, 2009 No doubt... the smile is the key word for this image. Besides, a superb and pleasant smile. On top of it, the image is technically very good. Congrats and best regards. Link to comment

kirk d 0 Posted March 24, 2009 The background is funny as is her expression. Her smile is kind of like the child under 9 yrs old that hasn't figured out how to smile for a camera; yet it is warm while seeming to be protecting a shy person inside. Very natural and touching photo. Kirk Link to comment

pnital 36 Posted March 26, 2009 Thanks to all of you for your very nice feedback, all of you felt her personality through her smile (vs. the BG.) Kirk, you have a point that there is something very innocent( childlike ) in her smile....Thanks for well wording your impressions. Link to comment
