Black Silk

I have previously said that there was nothing I could do with computer post processing

that I could not do in the darkroom. As my experiences in digital photography increase

I think I will have to retract that statement. Here the texture of the garment cloth and

the hair were controlled more finely than I think I could do with the traditional darkroom.

I would like some feedback as to whether I have gone too far so as to make it look

artificial or not. After spending some hours on an image I find that I cannot be

objective about it until some time passes.

To me there is nothing artificial about this photo. Anyway, with studio background and lighting, I think there is much more tolerance than with natural light. Nice shot! Regards Lennart
