Guest Guest Posted March 14, 2009 It's quite colourful, isn't it? What's interesting to me is that the droplets of condensation seem to be pointing upwards, or at least the majority of them do. Does that mean anything, in the photographic scheme of things? Link to comment
chris_panagiotidis 0 Posted March 14, 2009 You can "sweat" almost everything, dear David! Droplets seem to defy gravity law ,ascenting! ( Perhaps is the lighting). A nice change! I would like to thank you for the galant ratingsand comments here and elsewhere, which are highly appreciated ! Best regards, Chris Link to comment

davidmccracken 2 Posted March 16, 2009 Jim, I guess this is one image that just wouldn't work well in black and white. When I read your comment (prior to studying the image myself,) I wondered what you had been smoking. You are indeed correct. The droplets do seem to be defying gravity. The truth is, I can't remember why this should be. I did photograph the can in a few positions but upside down was not one of them. Interestingly your comment made me study the image more. This was taken with a point and shoot camera with a macro adapter on the front of the lens. If you look at the blue vertical to the left you will see the droplets in the centre of the image are in focus while thos at the extremes are not. Interestingly I did take some photos of this can with my 5D. I may upload a version taken with that later. I am now feeling a bit like Peri. The comments on this image are far more interesting thant the photo itself. Chris, See what I said to Jim. Edwin, I had a funny feeling someone would point out what I missed and strangely I had a funny feeling it would be you. Thanks everyone. Link to comment
