What a beautiful place. The lighting is perfect. I bet you only had a few more minutes of light left in the day. I'm jealous, I wish I was there now. Well done.

probably shot just few seconds after the sun went down the orizon... it happens to get such red colours in such situations, expecially when fuji velvia is used. the picture it is too dark at the bottom, probably it would have been better shooting in landscape format. quite a good shot. cheers

This is almost an "obligatory" Cinque Terre shot, except for two things: 1 most people go horizontal, and 2, not many wait for this light. There is also a very nice sweep in the surf which harmonises with the rock. As for the comment about the sea being too dark, well maybe, but to get it lighter would have required a heavy grad filter on the sky which would have just made it look kitsch. The natural light is better.
