I like this image, i tend to gravitate to saturated colors anyway, but i like the nostalgia and the feeling of loneliness and isolation created by this composition. The dark sky effectively adds to this mood and enhances it. Well done. Regards - michel

I love moody skies. If you take a look at my portfolio, you'll see this.

 

The first thing I liked about this picture was the sky. Secondly, i liked the composition. Thirdly, the colours look fantastic - the dark grey of the sky wonderfully contrasts with the bright green of the grass, but this contrast is calmly tempered by the blue of the horizon.

 

It all adds up to a superb image. I love it.

Beautiful and dramatic; I love especially the center horizontal line with the brighter blue and the patch of light coming through in the distance...the light on the sea. Very well done and moody image. Thank you for sharing. :)
