sm. alec 0 Posted December 12, 2002 Hands down one of the very best pictures I've seen on the net. That must have been some morning with light like that. I'll bet you didn't even notice the cold at times. There's a certain softness here, while maintaining crisp lines. I like all the windmill shots. Keep posting, I'll be back... Link to comment

bayard_bigelow 0 Posted December 24, 2002 Your photos are excellent and, as important, you have managed to create a signature style which is instantly recognizable as your work. It is indeed stunning. Makes me want to grab my camera and go to Holland to see what you see. Link to comment

david_henkel 0 Posted January 8, 2003 Good lord these winter scenes of the windmill are so good. I just find myself staring at them. Jeez....I have a long way to go in my photographic endeavor! BTW, these are not cliche windmill shots. I haven't seen many like these. Keep up the fantastic work! Link to comment
mark_drazak 0 Posted January 10, 2003 Jaap, How do I buy this image from you for my home? I can't stop looking at it and it would be simpler if it was on my wall instead of on my computer. I can't find an e-mail address for you.. Link to comment
michael_weick 0 Posted January 12, 2003 Yes this looks not manipulated and it has somethong of a Dutch painting with that magical light. Link to comment
robert_capek 0 Posted January 27, 2003 This is truly a gem of a photograph. I love it and if there's any legal way to obtain it, name the sum, please. It reminds me a bit the "Sleepy Hollow" movie, there was just this kind of lightning, not to mention the windmill. The light is true Netherlands... And the sharpness just does the rest.
