Pink Morning, Mono Lake

Excellent light and color! What a magic place!

Exaggerated or not, this rocks! only nit pick is maybe that the rock in the lake looks a bit mundain/lacks some of the magical colors. Regards!

You have wonderful light and a so-so composition. It's like you came across this scene and worked to find something to dramatically capture it but in the end the composition is not much more than a documentary of some really nice light in a beautiful place.

 

To the uninitiated it may seem like great photography when in reality it's not.

In no way whatsoever would I imply I'm a very good photographer... I just simply point my camera at very good stuff! I give God all the credit, He made it... I'm happy enough to have the breath, the eyes, and the health to stand in awe of His creation and "document" it, as meager as my documentation is. Nothing ever replaces being there, that's for sure! You will find all my photographs lacking any special talent behind the lens on my part (there are so many folks here oozing with talent, I don't even bother comparing myself!), and I guess you could call my photography "documentary" style, as I like to hike and climb and kayak and enjoy the beauty of nature and take my camera along in the process!
