Cow moose, autumn

Not a traditional moose photo, but I really like it because it is

much more of a fine art presentation, with an emphasis on lines,

shadow and color. I would appreciate any comments and feedback on

this image.

this is an amazing shot...animal photography on a level I've never quite seen before...Keep it up and you could get some good recognition down the road...

Nice work Carl. Just a tad too dark for my liking, but I can understand those who like it just the way it is.

This image, with the subtle light and nice curving form, really takes wildlife photography into the realm of Fine Art, Carl. I disagree with another critique that the image is too dark. To the contrary... as it is, the image portrays a mysterious creature in a mysterious place, not unlike some early 18th-century paintings depicting the fauna of unknown territories. Great composition. Peace.

I don't mind underexposure but this shot still needs a little more light.

I would crop a little from the top, very nice use of light...beautiful shot!

this is beautiful. I love the soft texture of the light and the tone, the harder highlight is very well used here.

 

I have always had a problem understanding the differentiating photography into fine art and others.... the work should always present the subject in the best manner that is appropriate for that subject. We should be making images not taking pictures.
