chjohnson 0 Posted November 21, 2002 Not a traditional moose photo, but I really like it because it is much more of a fine art presentation, with an emphasis on lines, shadow and color. I would appreciate any comments and feedback on this image. Link to comment
secondsight 0 Posted November 21, 2002 this is an amazing shot...animal photography on a level I've never quite seen before...Keep it up and you could get some good recognition down the road... Link to comment
nikonuserf100 0 Posted November 21, 2002 Nice work Carl. Just a tad too dark for my liking, but I can understand those who like it just the way it is. Link to comment
andrew_vonbank 0 Posted November 22, 2002 This image, with the subtle light and nice curving form, really takes wildlife photography into the realm of Fine Art, Carl. I disagree with another critique that the image is too dark. To the contrary... as it is, the image portrays a mysterious creature in a mysterious place, not unlike some early 18th-century paintings depicting the fauna of unknown territories. Great composition. Peace. Link to comment
hisham_atallah 0 Posted November 24, 2002 I don't mind underexposure but this shot still needs a little more light. Link to comment
Ray House 4,524 Posted November 24, 2002 I would crop a little from the top, very nice use of light...beautiful shot! Link to comment

ellery_chua___singapore 0 Posted November 25, 2002 Carl, this is beautiful. I love the soft texture of the light and the tone, the harder highlight is very well used here. I have always had a problem understanding the differentiating photography into fine art and others.... the work should always present the subject in the best manner that is appropriate for that subject. We should be making images not taking pictures. Link to comment
