Pierre, this is creativity to a whole new level. I would never be able to think of doing something like this. Not because I wouldn't like to. It's just that my mind doesn't seem to work along these lines. Not only is it a great image...but, it tells an interesting story of you and your creative mind.

Gary, it doesn't take (it didn't) much creativity to do something like this. It was a picture of my palm, a macro one and I used as usually polar coordinates to see if there is something to do with it. Since the lines of the palm aren't symmetrical the polar coordinates wouldn't give a symmetrical result neither, but if you cut the picture on a half and open new file and insert that half twice, the second time flipped horizontally there appears a perfectly symmetrical picture. It happened so that the picture I got that way reminded irresistibly of an alien. Then I just selected a part of it, inverted selection and changed the color getting that way the face which called for eyes, lip and nose. That's all to it!
