Are you familiar with Bierstadt's edifying chromolithograph 'Sunset in the Yo Semite Valley'? This has some of the same quality of light. Excellent image.

For everyone's info, this image is hard to capture. Not because of the subject matter itself. That is simple, a geyser in the morning. The area alone brings the mystique. Fly Geyser is on private property and the owner only allows photography via permission (if you can find him). Interested in how you obtained permission...

This looks almost CGI. The colors and textures are amazing but your composition is what excites me. Your use of light angle and WA lens are impressive. I have seen this desert on maps many times and wondered what's there. Wow. Cheers.
