joe-tury 0 Posted February 23, 2009 Good shallow DOF. Reminds me of "Water Lillies" in a way, not so much the colors but the feel. Link to comment

jana 1 Posted February 23, 2009 Anthony, 1. I was kissing the ground (lying in the field) + I used a very shallow Depth of Field, using aperture 2,8 on my macro 105mm lense. All this is written in my image DETAIL section. I always try to put there the important information. thank You, Jana Link to comment

gordonjb 10,860 Posted February 25, 2009 Ah yes spring.... I can hardly wait... but wait I must. I like the fact that beyond using shallow d.o.f. to obscure the background, you have also obfuscated the foreground by " kissing the ground " ( what a lovely turn of phrase ) and using the foreground vegetation to soften focus. The resulting haze leaves the poppies floating in the frame. Very nice work. Link to comment
camilo.margeli 1 Posted February 25, 2009 Hi Jana, beautiful poppies, well composed and good play of focus. Really I love the poppies Link to comment
