rnemtpski 0 Posted February 22, 2009 While taking pictures with my daughter, she snapped this one. After looking at it for a while, i thought i wonder how it would look hardend and black and white. I would love to hear what anyone has to say about this shot. Please offer critique to help me build my craft. Thanks in advance. Linda Link to comment
halina_lewandowski 0 Posted February 27, 2009 I don't want to say anything about the focus, because this is your daughter's snapshot. It is ok. to use just one light if you want to expose someones wrinkles. If you don't want to see what you see in this photo, it is better to use more than one light or bounce the one you have. Actually the sharpenning made you to look older. Try to do something opposite, blurrig a bit. You can always sharpen you eyes only. The out of focus part of you face looks much better. Regards. halina_lewandowski 0 Posted February 27, 2009 I went thru your portraits and I realised that you know how to photograph faces. Just sharpenning doesn't work, specially on woman's face. Link to comment
