mikedz 0 Posted February 21, 2009 Love the color of the sky and the geese really make the shot. Great composition and light. One of my favorites. Link to comment
rarmstrong 0 Posted February 21, 2009 This is an incredible photo, Lennart! It has so many wonderful compositional elements, I like the dog the best, but the birds, the boat, the subtle color of the wooden dock and the beautiful symmetry of the reflection all combine to make this truly astounding! My hearty congratulations to you for a very nice piece of photographic work! Did you use your flash to highlight the dock and the dog? Best regards, Dick Link to comment

RickDB 10 Posted February 22, 2009 A beautiful scene, but the dog is brighter than the sky and casts no shadow (compare with the boat). Sorry, but the dog is too obviously layered in. Cheers, RickDB Link to comment
pedroolivo 0 Posted February 22, 2009 Agreed with a previous post, the dog and the pier look layered in this shot, still looks good. Regards Pedro. Link to comment

yttergaarden. 0 Posted February 22, 2009 Hi - Thank you for your kind remarks about this image. But, this image is manipulated in several ways. As the dog and boat, they are layerd in and the light on them are made in PS. Link to comment
yttergaarden. 0 Posted February 22, 2009 Thank you for stopping by and for commenting. As you saw, they are layered in and i agree, that the dog became to bright and there is no shadow. First i thought i should leave the dog out from this image, but since i was playing around in PS and wanted that (dog watching mood) :-) i left him there. I am not so clever in these PS things so the result do not always get as good as i hope. The same image without the dog turned out quit well, i think :-) Regards LKV. Link to comment

cjtj50 0 Posted February 22, 2009 I love the peace I feel when viewing this image. The stillness of this dog watching the birds flying near is wonderful. Very beautiful tones, comp. and lighting. Take care 7/7 Link to comment

ryourth 0 Posted February 22, 2009 Believe this is image is up to your usual high standards, but the dog is too distracting & spoils what would be a very peacefull & relaxing image for the viewer Best Regards-Ross Link to comment
soniam 6 Posted February 22, 2009 this one has incredible appeal. I love the peacefulness. My only regret is that on a closer look, the dog does not look right. Perhaps he is too white and he does not have a shadow, as the boat does. Otherwise, this is just perfect. Link to comment
