rarmstrong 0 Posted February 21, 2009 I like the whole thing, Younes! What stands out for me is the great detail in the forest and mountain background and the fact that you can see the underwater detail with the beautiful cloud reflection overlying it on the water. I have the same lens and just need to get out and use it more. This shot inspires me! Best regards, Dick Link to comment

brockmiller 0 Posted February 24, 2009 Thanks for processing and posting this image. Its a wonderful shot. The world under the water adds so much to this photo. It makes the foreground elements really come to life. Great colors and light on the background mountain as well. Link to comment
iancoxleigh 0 Posted February 28, 2009 I quite like this too. The colours are especially lovely and it is a view of Pyramid mountain I haven't seen before. The main log is an effect subject as it is full of fascinating details both above and below the water. I usually hate making crop suggestions. I don't know what you have already cropped out (or not). Plus, they always seem like such niggling things that don't really serve much purpose. But, I am going to break my 'rule' make a crop suggestion here. There are two reasons I'd suggest this crop. The first is that I am not too sure about the three little intrusions on the left of the frame -- the small bit of descending slope, the tiny black spot, and the darker shadow/foliage? But, more importantly, I am simply not sure you need as much space on the left in general. So, I'd be inclined to crop from the top left down and in (keeping the same aspect). Link to comment
