Crop down the sides at all? I'm not sure if the final should be 20x24 or

20x36.... Part of me just hates the thought of cropping. That's probably

also the same part that's saying "you should have shot this with that

4x5 gathering dust on the living room shelf"....

I wouldn't crop the sides, Kyle; like it just the way it is as a homey kitchen that suggests a lot of entertaining hosted. The strobe outside was immediately noticed as a nice detail. The camera-right strobe, now that you mentioned it, does appear to skew the white balance in the top-right corner slightly. I wish there was more shown of the foreground hanging pots, and do hope Veronique isn't the one in the sink.. :)

I'll go between the last two comments.

 

Yes, a 5x4 could have been a killer image, but you would have still needed to put somehting on that table corner etc. A 5x4 shot (or even smaller but most don't know) means you really have to build that set.

 

Now a cheeky comment about from Paris to me means the nose should be a little lower making it a little sharper! :-)
