jim_j2 9 Posted July 20, 2012 Linda,I've been visiting quite often yesterday & today inbetween "lifes chores" to get a feel of your shooting style in hopes of assisting in your quest for which Macro lens would best suit you.I like my IS on my 100/2.8 Macro because I do considerable Hand-Held shots on the "spur of the moment" when I observe something that I think interesting. In addition, I like its light weight, length and that it comes supplied with a Hood. But the Hybrid IS is the most valuable, especially at my age with the loss of "steady body movement!" I do sincerely extend "best wishes" regardless of your selection. Now back to this photo, . . . I really like this composition and theme showing the Sunflower nearing its end. It has done its job producing the seeds to repopulate!I really like how you have extended the leaf and petals outside of the frame. (wish I knew how to do that!) It does indeed make for a very nice presentation!Great lighting, colour, details and background and, a very fitting title! Regards always & best wishes,Jim j. Link to comment
