Mating Emigrants (Catopsilia pyranthe)

These beautiful butterflies were found mating just after some early

monsoon showers. Combined with the freshness of the leaves and the

smell of the earth the mood was just ethereal.

Thank you both for your comments. I love the curve of the twig as well, I did try to get the last bit of the flower into the slide.. but that meant I include some other details which would have degraded the picture as well as made the butterflies a little smaller in the frame, so this the best I could do.
