.... well you in turn must have expected to see me show up here. I love flowers almost as much as dogs. Much like yourself, I prefer them to many people, present company excluded.

 

 

The open face of the tulip looks like a portal to another dimensions. I love how the other details of foliage and flower are implied without being boldly stated. Just for fun I rotated this 90 clockwise and cropped the top a bit and it works nicely that way as well. Really nice work Liz, you've captured the spirit and not just the blossom..

Beautiful image Liz. the subtle change from focus to blur makes the flower look as though it is coming right off the page. Well done!
