tammysphotos 0 Posted February 11, 2009 Wow!! She's gorgeous! You controlled the light beautifully, Sky, and I love the contrast of colors. Link to comment
sky blue 0 Posted February 12, 2009 Thanks so much, Tammy. This was my favorite. I've blown out the white coat a bit and need to re-edit. Looks pretty cold for Texas, huh? ~Sky Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 15, 2009 Beautiful! I love the pose and colors! This would be a hard exposure with that white, but it works great! Link to comment
sky blue 0 Posted February 16, 2009 Thank you Alberto. I appreciate that. ~Sky --------------------------------- Hey Kim, Thank you. I believe I blew the white when I processed. I think that I have what I need in the exposure but I have to pull it up and run it through again. ~Sky Link to comment
kim_tural 0 Posted February 18, 2009 You have definitely captured the winter spirit with this shot, Sky. Beautiful model. Link to comment
sky blue 0 Posted February 21, 2009 Thank you Kim T. (It wasn't as cold as it looked but there was a chill in the air.) Glad for your visit. ~Sky Link to comment
tmcleland 0 Posted February 24, 2009 Wonderful composition and execution. I love shallower DOF with the vivid colors. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted February 28, 2009 A long time....;-)) this is a very nice composition, well placed on the frame, the different color palette, the light ,skin tones and BG creates a good colorful frame.Nice model too. I hope all is well with you . Link to comment
sky blue 0 Posted March 1, 2009 Thanks for your comment and thoughts, David. I appreciate it. ~Sky ------------------------------------------ Hello Pnina, I'm doing fine. I hope you are doing fine as well. I am very glad for your visit. I haven't been on PN as much lately but I do get by to see your work when I can. I apologize that I do it quietly - I guess because I'm never sure if I'll get back to reply these days. This is a flaw on my part and I should take more time to visit. I'm glad you liked this photo. It was one of my favorites. I appreciate your thoughts about it. ~Sky Link to comment
ken dennis 0 Posted March 21, 2009 Hello Sky! Wow! Amazing shot! The cropping is good, focus's the eye on the subject, and speaking of subject, she sure gave this photo mood! My only nitpick is that small yellow patch just above her head, my eye wanted to keep wandering toward it and away from your subject, not sure if you would want to clone that out or not, but I think if this where mine, I would! But anyway, great capture! Salute! Ken. Link to comment
ken dennis 0 Posted March 21, 2009 I hope you don't mind, I took the liberty to do a clone on the spot in question for illustration purposes! Link to comment
sky blue 0 Posted March 23, 2009 - a pleasant surprise and good to hear from you! Hope all is well for you and your family. Thanks for the input on this one, I do appreciate it. (Damn taxis; they're never around when you need one but when you don't...) It's nice of you to take the time to edit the distraction in this one. I've been needing to revisit this photo since I blew out some of the white hood in processing. Just haven't had time. I probably do need to break away from the photojournalist in me and process my images for a more artful look. When I send them to print, I usually break down and edit for a more appealing look. Hope you're still shooting as much as you used to. I miss getting by and seeing your photos; although, I don't get to be on as much as I used to. (I knew a good mystery woman would get you back... ) Take care, ~Sky Link to comment
