Not Here 93 Posted February 10, 2009 Excellent shot. I like all the flying dirt, it gives the image great action. Not something you could have controlled, but the rear horse has lost his head in a delicate spot :).... Regardless, a unique perspective... Mike Link to comment
timeless 0 Posted February 10, 2009 The On-looker, wink wink, makes the SHOTS. (double-meaning). This action shot has a lot going on besides just a horse and his jockey jumping. The flying dirt, as mentioned by the previous critique artist, lends itself to a REALLY deep shot. The addition of you, the on-looker, really provides the "spectatorship" and gives this shot more excitement. It takes "just a horse jumping," and invokes other's excitement for watching as well. Great shot...great perspective...all-around, bravo!.....Rob Raab (Rob2) Link to comment
gerrymorgan 0 Posted February 11, 2009 I love the flying dirt against the dramatic sky. It really adds to the sense of movement. One thing that strikes me about this photo is that your fast shutter speed has completely stopped the action, and yet it completely captures the sense of movement. I think the flying dirt helps a lot. Link to comment
pimhorvers 0 Posted February 11, 2009 Great point of view and action in the dirt and face! Maybe I would crop it to the topleft corner.. Link to comment
